Hugh has taught thousands of children & adults the skills of watercolour painting. He is artist in residence at Bury art gallery, and has taught sessions to the public at Manchester city art gallery. Awarded 'Outstanding' from Ofsted, he has taught throughout the UK, in the USA, Istanbul, and for Cunard aboard the QE2. His work as an inspirational teacher of watercolour painting has been described as 'Remarkable' by the Times Educational Supplement. He was recently interviewed in Sir James Ratcliffe's Ineos magazine along side Kate Middleton about the importance of art as a recreational therapy.
